As consolas R+J foram desenhadas e construídas para dar suporte à mesa de jantar. A estrutura neutra e sólida é balanceada com os detalhes das frentes das gavetas, que possuem losangos fresados em madeira clara. A estrutura geral da consola e as molduras das gavetas são feitas de sapele, madeira africana moderadamente dura e avermelhada. Já a estrutura geral das gavetas foram feitas com carvalho, uma madeira densa e de dureza alta com tons amarelados.

The neutral and solid structure is balanced by the detailing of the drawers fronts, which feature diamond-shaped milling in light wood. The overall structure of the console tables together with the drawers frames are made of sapele, a moderately hard, reddish African solid wood.
